Start with records, not transport
The receiving team normally needs embryo creation, fertilisation, freezing, storage and biological-material records. Names, dates and identity information must be consistent with passports and civil documents.
Biological-material requirement
For the imported frozen-embryo pathway currently offered through our Georgia programme, embryos must have been created from the intended parents’ own biological material, without egg or sperm donation. The full gamete-origin and embryology file is reviewed before final acceptance.
Receiving-clinic review
Embryo quality information, freezing method, storage conditions and laboratory records are reviewed before acceptance. Non-standard freezing methods may require special thawing media or additional planning.

Transport is arranged through a specialist international medical-transport provider in coordination with the sending clinic, receiving clinic and our team.

Creating embryos in Tbilisi instead
If embryos have not yet been created or cannot be accepted for shipment, a Georgian doctor can conduct an initial online consultation, review medical history and prepare an individualized treatment plan for egg retrieval, fertilisation and embryo creation in Georgia.
Surrogate preparation and FET
After embryo acceptance and programme confirmation, a selected surrogate follows the clinic’s preparation protocol. The written offer states whether one or several FET attempts are included and how any additional attempt is handled.
Costs outside the base programme
Courier transport, special thawing media, extended storage, additional FET attempts, genetic testing and document correction may be charged separately.
