Start with an online doctor consultation
Before final programme confirmation, the Georgian doctor reviews medical history, earlier treatment, existing test results and—where relevant—embryo records. The clinic then issues an individualized treatment and testing plan.
Common tests for the intended father
For a standard pathway, the initial file commonly includes:
- Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C
- HIV and syphilis screening
- General semen analysis
Common tests for the intended mother
The clinical review may request:
- Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV and syphilis
- Complete blood count, coagulogram, glucose and insulin
- Blood group (ABO) and Rh factor
- TSH, free T4 and prolactin
- AMH
- Pap smear and PCR screening for sexually transmitted infections
- Karyotype and carrier screening, when clinically required
- Breast, thyroid and vaginal ultrasound, including antral follicle count
Cycle-day hormonal tests
FSH, LH, estradiol, 17-OH progesterone, free testosterone and DHEA-Sulfate are commonly requested on days 2–3 of the menstrual cycle. Other preparation instructions—including fasting—must follow the clinic’s written directions.
How recent should results be?
Infectious-disease screening submitted for treatment may need to be no more than three months old. Some existing results from the previous six months may still help the doctor’s initial review, but the clinic may require repeat testing before treatment.
Where tests can be completed
Tests can generally be arranged in the intended parents’ home country or in Georgia. Reports should clearly show the patient’s name, collection date, result, units, reference range and issuing laboratory.

Usually yes, provided the reports are complete and acceptable to the treating clinic.
Do all female hormonal tests need cycle-day timing?
